April was a busy month for us with settlements and new listings. But several transactions were pushed back into May or were terminated due to the appraisals. We had several situations where the buyers were willing to pay the seller’s price but the appraisal came in below the contract sales price. Other issues were home inspections – trying to find qualified contractors to give estimates or complete the work has become difficult. Hoping for a better May.
